PROJECT BRIEF

Contractor is expected to conduct a waste sampling also for the hotspots around the three sites. The assessment will help in identification of the following in the mentioned geography:

  • Identification of 5 major plastic pollutants groups (classified as per consumer goods) that have recycle/reuse potential;

  • Identification of 5 major plastic pollutants (classified as per consumer goods) which are single use plastics (SUP);

  • Identification of 5 major plastic pollutants (classified as per consumer goods) which are PLA based;

  • Quantum of COVID-19 related biomedical waste (nitrile gloves, disposable masks and face shields).

  • Estimated amount of plastic leakages as well as recycled materials which are fed back into the production system.
